Welcome

Thalweg Forest Preserve is a private, family-owned woodland sanctuary. Our forest has been home to decades of adventure and wonder. We hope to help that spirit live on in a thriving woodland ecosystem far in to the future.

We gather here to enjoy maple syrup. We work here to help build and protect a robust forest. We imagine this as a place for reflection, craft and industry.
